Corrosion protection
The 12-15% proportion of nickel in the plating layer provides considerably improved corrosion protection even after heat treatment, and meets the specifications of the automotive industry.

Barrier layers
Technical, highly ductile nickel layers suitable for stamping, for switch, telephone and apparatus engineering. Plating thickness up to approx. 5 µm. Nickel used as a barrier layer against diffusion processes, e.g. in soldering technology.

Nickel [Ni]

Nickel-plated wire

Non-porous nickel-plated copper wires in line with ASTM and MIL standards. Nickel-plated wires used for protection against thermal stresses of up to 400 °C, against corrosive evaporation of plastics in electrical engineering and electric current carriers. Nickel-plated iron wires up to a plating thickness of 4%. Decorative flexible nickel layers on iron and steel wires for wire mass products.
