Non-porous, nickel-plated copper wires in line with ASTM standards, with up to 27% nickel by weight . Nickel-plated wires for protection against thermal stresses up to approx. 400°C or against corrosive evaporation of plastics in electrical engineering and electric current carriers. Nickel-plated iron wires with up to 4% nickel by weight . Decorative, flexible, bright nickel layers on iron or steel wires for bulk wire products.

Tarnish-proof contact, spring and connector wires made from copper, pure nickel or alloys, stainless steels with a fine gold plating up to 1 µm thick. Can also be manufactured with a nickel barrier or with a copper or silver interface layer for increased electrical conductivity.
